Lovely cottage and lovely community of delightful people, we had a very restful break away. Some lovely walks round about Chirnside. Everyone so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for this cosy place.

A haven for the world weary. Relaxing, comfortable and clean. Places of interest nearby. Would recommend it.

Lovely comfortable cottage. We had a wonderful week-extremely relaxing. Visited lots of beautiful places-Alnwick, Craster, Warkworth, Bamburgh, Holy Island, Edinburgh, Northumberland National Park-I don’t want to go home! Will definitely visit again, thank you.

We had a lovely time taking walks around Chirnside and especially going on day trips to Berwick upon Tweed, Edinburgh, Melrose, Kelso-lots of great places to visit nearby! We had fabulous weather too! Thanks so much for helping on that first day-very kind! Thanks!

Very cosy place to stay! It is an ideal location to explore the Borders with some amazing views and lots to see and do. We have really enjoyed our stay here and are sad to be going home.
The co-op is a tip-top village store. Butcher for fresh meat and cooked meats, sausages and pies. Newsagent beyond road junction for sweeties etc. Very friendly villagers. One of the best cottages I’ve found. Thank you all for a lovely holiday to remember.

It is a beautiful little cottage, the perfect little getaway for our honeymoon.

Wonderful getaway, friendly village, central for so many interesting places even in November. Berwick, Duns, Duns Law, The Hirsel at Coldstream, Harestanes at Ancrum, St Abbs Head. The weather was amazing and the cottage is A1!

A cosy little cottage and a great base for exploring the area. A week of clear blue skies. Four full days walking in the Cheviots and Lammamuirs. The two days ‘off’ were spent in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Had a great stay in this lovely cosy cottage, it is spotlessly clean with everything we could possibly need, a great base to explore from. We have been to Floors Castle, Traquair House, Bamburgh (which definitely is the King of the Castles), Peebles, Jedburgh, Kelso, and the Melrose area. Lovely friendly towns and loved Berwick, we have had a smashing time and will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay in this little cottage. We have explored the castles near and around and two days to visit Edinburgh. It is a nice area to explore with bikes! We want to come back to see the rest. Thanks to Agnes and Bob for the relaxing time here!

We had a great time. Cottage is well located and even better maintained and kitted out. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are a must, Holy Island is really beautiful, there’s a viewing point close to the Priory where we saw seals! For keen cyclists Glentres is brilliant, looks like a long drive on the map but it is really easy. All round, great few days. Thanks very much.

Well located cottage to explore this area. Paxton House and Manderston are real treasures-do go and have a look, not very far from here either, no more than 8 miles each.

Had a lovely time and the cottage made a great base for visiting the Borders and beyond. Even managed a two hour drive to Stirling! Well worth a visit! Bamburgh Castle is not to be missed! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Mac loved the beach and I loved the village coffee shop! Holy Island is a must-see, we had a great time here. A great week all round.

After a very hectic Christmas with our children and grandchildren we wanted a quiet and peaceful New Year break. The Coach House was perfect for this, well-equipped, very comfortable and cosy and lots of silence! Well located for visiting the Borders. Would highly recommend this little treasure to anyone who wants a hidey-hole to relax.
